The Cedars banquet hall was always intended to be more than just a big space for weekly meetings or for receptions. The dream for the Cedars was that it would become a place where people could gather and experience the warm, Middle Eastern-flavored hospitality of St. Raymond’s Maronite Catholic Church.Before the development boom of the mid to late 1990’s continuing even today, there were not many welcoming places where residents and employees could relax and enjoy each other’s company. For many years, the old St. Raymond’s Hall provided a place for social events and famous Middle Eastern Cuisine.

Our famous Wednesday lunches sponsored by the St. Raymond’s Ladies Society at the current Cedars facility that has been bringing people together in downtown St. Louis every Wednesday afternoon for great Lebanese food and fellowship since 1979.
